Composite metasurface for surface wave radar enhancement

This paper presents the design, fabrication and experimental validation of a compact composite metasurface for surface wave radar. The aim is to enhance the efficiency of such system by modifying the radiation characteristics of the emitting antenna with a highly inductive metasurface.
