Research on DDoS attack detection technology in SDN environment
With the continuous expansion of network applications, traditional network structures are no longer suitable for modern network applications. SDN, as a new type of network architecture, decouples the control plane from the data plane, simplifies network configuration work based on logic centralized controllers and open programming interfaces, thereby achieving a flat management mode and flexible data forwarding function. However, the centralized control and programmability of SDN networks make them face more complex network security issues, among which DDoS attacks are one of the biggest security threats faced by SDN networks. DDoS attacks are a distributed coordinated attack that utilizes multiple network sources, with strong deceptive and destructive characteristics. This article studies the effective detection of network attacks using weighted KNN algorithm based on different datasets in SDN environment, providing a basis for defending against DDoS attacks.
