The research "Racism in Brazilian Football: An Analysis of the Legislation regarding Racial Issues in Brazilian Football" addresses the confrontation of racism in the scenario, with a sporting focus on Brazilian legal regulations applied to football. The study analyzes general legislation against racism, such as Law No. 7,716/1989 and the Statute of Racial Equality (Law No. 12,288/2010), in addition to the specific norms of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD), which provides for sanctions for discriminatory acts in sporting competitions.
