Need Analysis for Community-Based Food Recommendation System

The application of technology aims to improve the quality of life of its users. Technology can also help address individual users' issues by empowering the social resources formed within communities. Technology plays a role in enhancing functionality and value co-creation by implementing community computing. One implementation of community computing is through recommendation systems applicable in the food domain. Food recommendation systems are still a topic of research requiring investigation in various aspects. There is a wide and varied spread of food-related information available on the internet. Food is an essential aspect of human daily life. Healthy food is a key factor in proper growth and development and can aid in the prevention of malnutrition. However, the mindset that healthy food is expensive persists, resulting in many middle to lower-income groups being unable to optimize the consumption of a balanced and healthy diet within a budget. In the prevention of malnutrition, another crucial factor is the dissemination of information regarding access to and distribution of healthy food available in the community. This paper try to construct the requirements analysis for community computing on smart food recommendation domain. The results of this analysis will be used as the basis for engineering in the development of smart food recommendations in the future research.
