Analysis of PV System Using Iterative Techniques for Various R Load Conditions

The increasing use of renewable energy sources will have a big impact on power networks in the future. In this paper, the Photovoltaic(PV) module is modelled using the single-diode model and analyzed using two implicit function solvers: fzero and fsolve. The PV voltage-current and power-voltage characteristics are simulated for different irradiance. The main objective of this work is to compare the computation time and the number of iterations taken by two different methods under standard test conditions (STC) and various irradiances. The analysis is carried out for different series x parallel PV configurations and the behaviour of the PV curves is analyzed with different load conditions.
