Assessing User Experience and Interface Usability of the Sokrates Website

In recent years, digital technology has revolutionized the landscape of education, ushering in an era where learning is increasingly facilitated through online platforms. At the heart of this transformation is the Learning Management System (LMS) in E-Learning, a comprehensive software solution designed to organize, deliver, and track educational content in virtual environments. The LMS is conceptualized as a response to technological advancements that enable educational institutions, companies, or other organizations to provide learning content, manage users, and track learning activities. The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of an LMS play a crucial role in determining how effectively the platform supports the learning process for both educators and students. This research aims to evaluate the UI/UX of the Sokrates website. This evaluation is conducted by using Nielsen's Usability Heuristics and USE Questionnaire to achieve the research objective of providing feedback so that the Sokrates website can evolve based on shortcomings identified by users who have filled out the questionnaire. Moving forward, the findings of this study are expected to provide valuable guidance for website developers to improve or enhance the design and functionality of the website. By paying attention to these findings, developers can optimize the available features to increase user satisfaction and expand the website's user base in the future.
