Probing the Impact of Dust on Solar Photovoltaic Performance Using Cutting Edge Techniques for Performance Optimization

As the world grapples with rising power consumption and the escalating issue of greenhouse gas emissions, the adoption of alternative renewable energy sources has become increasingly vital. These clean and environmentally friendly solutions are gaining traction globally. Solar power, in particular, is projected to account for 10 percent of global power generation by 2030, with a significant portion of this capacity expected to be installed in desert regions, where sunlight is plentiful. However, a major challenges faced by solar installations in these areas is the accumulation of foreign particles/ dust on solar panels. With the increasing demand for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, which convert solar energy directly into electricity without harming the environment, the efficiency of PV array is critical. Being entirely natural, solar energy is regarded as a clean energy source. Thus, it is imperative to investigate ways to improve solar panel efficiency. A smart, economical, and energy-efficient dust-cleaning solution for photovoltaic panels is suggested by the study. By addressing the issues caused by dust deposition, this technology seeks to enhance the overall effectiveness and performance of solar energy systems.
