Cloud Server Enabled IoT Integrated Smart Wrist Band for Women's Protection Remotely

This work proposes an IoT framework that incorporates a smart wearable wristband for the protection of girls and women using a cloud server from a remote location. This can be embedded into a wrist that is easy to wear, easy to carry, and easy to operate. It consists of 3 sensor units including a pulse oxy meter, pressure sensor, and sound detector. When any stranger attacks a woman or girl by means of holding her hand, the pressure sensor will activate the device. Even if the stranger doesn't hold the hand, the device will be activated by a pulse oximeter sensor. This sensor is continuously monitoring her pulse rate and SpO2, and when the value exceeds the reset value, the device will be activated and it will send the data to the cloud through the Wi-Fi module to send the data to the victim's home without any delay. The performance of the proposed technology has been evaluated in terms of output from sensors along with the ThingSpeak IoT server.
