A Parameterized Solution to Optimal Guidance Law Against Stationary Target With Impact Angle Constraint

A 3-D parameterized guidance law against stationary target with impact angle constraint is proposed in this article. In particular, we perform a dimension reduction on the relative motion in the rotating line-of-sight frame, and proceed to formulate the optimal guidance problem into a geometric parameterization problem, with the state and costate variables parameterized as nonuniform cubic B-Spline, and subsequently, proposed a numerical solution to determine its optimal value. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed guidance law, and verified that the computational efficiency of the proposed parametric method outperforms that of the well-established Gauss pseudospectral method.
