AVALIAÇÃO DA EFICÁCIA DE DIFERENTES FERTILIZANTES FOSFATADOS NA PRODUTIVIDADE DO MILHO EM SOLOS COM NÍVEIS MÉDIOS DE FÓSFORO

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different phosphate fertilizers (conventional 05-36-00, polymer-coated, and organic biological) on maize productivity in soils with medium phosphorus levels. The experiment was carried out at the Experimental Farm of Terrena Agronegócios Ltda., where agronomic parameters such as plant height, number of ears per plant, thousand-grain weight, and total yield were analyzed. Statistical analysis was performed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that controlled-release fertilizers, especially polymer-coated ones, performed better in terms of gradual phosphorus availability and yield. It was concluded that proper management of phosphate fertilization, adjusting doses and sources according to soil conditions, is essential to optimize maize crop productivity.
