Analysis of The Level of Development of Multimodal Transport in Potential «New Silk Road» Routes

The routes and significance of the New Silk Road project are examined. The objectives of Kazakhstan in the direction of development of the transport and logistics system have been identified. The economic efficiency of container transportation has been assessed. The existing transport corridors for container shipping in the China-Europe direction are described. The requirements for multimodal transportation and ways of their implementation are shown. The carrying capacity of the railway for intermodal transport was taken into account.
