Ligand-controlled Rh( <scp>i</scp> )-catalyzed intramolecular alkyne sila-cyclization: divergent catalysis and mechanistic studies

A chemo-divergent Rh-catalyzed Si–C bond cleavage process was established for the synthesis of novel silacycles, wherein the cyclic silylmetal intermediates undergo highly efficient intramolecular sila-cyclization reactions under mild conditions.
