The Content Analysis of the Educational Programs Components Aimed at Developing Research Skills Among Graduates in Engineering and Technical Fields

The need to develop research skills among graduates in engineering and technical fields is being updated. In order to determine the effectiveness of preparing graduates for research activities, an analysis of educational programs was carried out to determine the components of educational programs that form research skills, which were formed in groups. The analysis of the results of educational programs showed that a significant part of the analyzed disciplines is focused on the formation of educational skills according to the methodology of the scientific research, and the other on conducting research work in professional activities. Despite the fact that educational programs have enough disciplines aimed at developing research skills, practice shows that when developing dissertation research, graduates are faced with the problem of developing the scientific apparatus of their research. To eliminate this contradiction, this research proposes certain ways to optimize the formation of research skills of graduates in engineering and technical fields.
