Comparative Analysis of Architectural Heritage Preservation: Venetian Villas and Russian Estates

This study investigates the museumification and preservation of architectural heritage, focusing on two comparative cases: the Regional Institute of Venetian Villas in Italy and the Society for the Study of the Russian Estate in Russia. Through historical, legal, and organizational lenses, the article examines differences in funding, cataloging, and cultural management approaches within each organization, analyzing their strengths and limitations in preserving cultural sites. The findings suggest that effective conservation requires a combination of theoretical and practical strategies and highlight potential avenues for experience exchange between the two countries.
