Long duty hours affect the child and mother relationship. Stressful environment leads to psychological issues like stress, burnout, poor sleep quality, lose temper, anxiety, hypertension and low productivity. Results also showed longer the working hours were associated with hypertension, stress and burnout. Less cooperation from family was associated with poor work life balance. Poor work life balance was associated with high blood pressure. It is suggested that for the well-being of working mothers work sectors should arrange flexible working hours, supportive work place environment, self-care courses, time management skills, and family leave policies.
