Ground control of man-made deformation processes during oil and gas field development

Background. The need to take into account and analyze the manifestation of man-made deformation processes of drained layers during the development of oil and gas fields. Objective. To propose a new approach to the creation of geodynamic testing grounds for geodetic observations using existing equipment. Materials and methods. The basic principles of monitoring changes in the altitude position of the Earth’s surface during the development of oil and gas fields. Results. A new approach to the creation of geodynamic testing grounds is substantiated, including the use of wellhead fittings of wells under construction at the field under consideration as benchmarks on the profile lines of geodynamic testing grounds. Conclusions. Such an approach to monitoring man-made changes in the altitude position of the Earth’s surface at the fields under development makes it possible to reduce the cost of constructing geodynamic testing grounds.

Abstract
