Rasch calibaration of the fitness center’s servicescape during the pandemic

The purpose of this study was to assess the validity of a measurement tool designed to evaluate the servicescape of fitness centers applying the Rasch model, specifically targeting individuals in their 20s and 30s during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rasch analysis, including model-dat fit, rating scale’s function, item-person map and differential item function (age, sex, exercise experience, and frequency) was assessed the psychometric properties of the servicescape of fitness centers during the COVID-19. There were no items identified as misfits. The 5-point Likert scale of the servicescape of fitness centers works well. Item difficulty ranged from 1.25 to 1.19 logits. The servicescape of fitness centers demonstrated consistent functionality across variables such as age, sex, exercise experience, and frequency. Therefore, the scale serves as a valid measurement tool for assessing the servicescape of fitness centers, particularly in the context of the pandemic.
