This study reveals the impact of social isolation and percieved ease of use of technology among older people on suicide intention. Specifically, this study sets loneliness, social support, and perceived ease of use as independent variables and suicide intention as a dependent variable. This study conducted a nationwide survey, collecting 350 copies of primary data. The data was then analyzed with basic statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and a 2 (loneliness) × 2 (social support) × 2 (perceived ease of use) uni-variate analysis of variance. The study results show that loneliness and social support had significant effect on suicide intention, and interaction effects between loneliness and social support, loneliness and perceived ease of use occurred. This study provides strategies for reducing the problem of suicide among the elderly by offering multiple interpretations in sport contexts by examining the effect of social isolation and ease of using technology on suicide intentions among the elderly.
