Low‐Temperature Methane Activation Reaction Pathways over Mechanochemically‐Generated Ce 4+ /Cu + Interfacial Sites (Small 42/2024)
Methane Activation In article number 2403028, Simone Piccinin, Piero Torelli, Alessandro Trovarelli, and co-workers present a milled composite based on CuO and CeO2 prepared via-mechanochemical approach. The mechanical energy provided by the synthesis demonstrated the ability to generate Ce4+/Cu+ interfaces which resulted active in the activation of methane into partially oxidized intermediates at the temperature of 250 °C.
