CLINICAL VERIFICATION OF INDIVIDUALIZED HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINE GYMNEMA SYLVESTRE IN DIABETES MELLITUS (TYPE-II): A CASE STUDY

Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic condition that either results from insufcient insulin production by the pancreas (Type-I) or from insufcient insulin utilisation by the body (Type-II). Ahormone called insulin controls blood sugar levels. Uncontrolled diabetes can seriously harm many different bodily systems, including the neurons [1] and blood vessels. It is a metabolic condition with numerous aetiologies characterised by chronic hyperglycemia and changes in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism as a result of deciencies in insulin secretion or action, or both. The primary signs include Polyuria (frequent urination), Polydipsia (increased thirst), and Polyphagia [2] (Increased hunger).
