An unseen danger: A case of left atrial cardiomyopathy proceeding left atrial dissection
Left atrial dissection is a rare complication that can occur after mitral valve surgery, radiofrequency ablation, or blunt cardiac trauma. Research on the relationship between atrial myopathy and left atrial dissection is limited. We present a rare case of left atrial dissection that developed after right interatrial septal ablation in a patient with preexisting isolated left atrial myopathy.
