Preface

The 11th Global Conference on Polymer and Composite Materials (PCM 2024) was successfully held in Xi’an, China, from August 19-22, 2024, with the generous support of Northwestern Polytechnical University. This annual event provides a platform for academic experts and participants to exchange insights and share research findings on all aspects of polymer and composite materials, while also addressing practical challenges and discussing implemented solutions. The conference featured over 50 outstanding presentations from researchers representing a diverse array of countries, including China, the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Mexico, South Korea, South Africa, Thailand, Pakistan, and India. Notably, we were honored to have four distinguished keynote speakers: Prof. Christophe Len from PSL Research University, Chimie ParisTech, Paris, France; Prof. Alois K. Schlarb from Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), Kaiserslautern, Germany; Prof. Haiwon Lee, Jeonju University, South Korea and Prof. Ishaq Ahmad from National Center for Physics, Islamabad, Pakistan. The conference proceedings include the papers that were accepted and presented. Each paper underwent rigorous review by the program committee, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the wide range of research topics within the scope of polymer and composite materials. List of Conference General Chairs and Technical Program Committee are available in this Pdf.
