The effect of neuroticism on mobile phone addiction among undergraduate nursing students: a moderated mediation model
The prevalence of MPA was relatively high among undergraduate nursing students, with neuroticism exerting a direct influence on it. Self-control served as a mediating factor that could partially alleviate MPA associated with neuroticism. Psychological capital has the ability to regulate the relationship between self-control and MPA. Therefore, enhancing self-control capabilities and cultivating psychological capital levels can effectively manage MPA among undergraduate nursing students.
