Applications of the Cu(I)‐Catalyzed Aryl Amidation in Total Synthesis of Complex Molecules

Abstract Copper‐catalyzed aryl amidation reactions have received increasing interest in recent years and have been widely applicable in the total synthesis of a diverse range of structurally complex natural products. This review covers the synthetic assembly of a wide range of natural products, with copper‐catalyzed aryl amidation being the key conversion process.
