Application of Power Quality Monitoring for Disturbance and Fault Diagnosis in a Ski Lift Power Supply Installation
As the integration of renewable generation and smart grid technologies advances, ensuring a reliable power supply and maintaining the power quality within standard limits is critical for the modern power systems. This paper presents a practical application of PQ monitoring strategies to identify and diagnose specific faults or disruptive events in a ski lift power supply installation. The results highlight the importance of comprehensive PQ monitoring and predictive maintenance in improving the reliability of the power systems, particularly for those sections supplying end-users sensitive to electromagnetic disturbances.
