Challenges Related to Renewable Production and Electric Mobility. Part II - Practical Recommendations for Capitalizing the Findings of a Sociological Research on Electric Vehicles and Photovoltaic Panels Integration

The global transition to green technologies, such as electric vehicles and photovoltaic panels, is an urgent necessity to combat climate change and reduce dependence on fossil resources. This study, part of a larger work based on the exploration of the perceptions and readiness to adopt these technologies among students at the University of Craiova and their affiliates, has a natural continuation, transforming the empirical findings in an action strategy aimed at facilitating Romania's transition to a green economy, reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable ecological behavior. By identifying the main barriers, such as high initial costs, insufficiently developed infrastructure and lack of access to information, the research proposes concrete and effective solutions to stimulate the rapid adoption of green technologies. The recommendations mentioned to support the large-scale implementation of environmental solutions include improving infrastructure, conducting information campaigns and offering financial subsidies, thus highlighting the importance of universities as centers of innovation and pillars of change. In addition, collaboration between government, the private sector and local communities is fundamental to creating a sustainable and resilient economy capable of meeting emissions reduction targets. The study's findings highlight the need for an integrated and collaborative approach between all stakeholders involved - academia, government, business environment and local communities - to develop a unified vision of a sustainable future.
