A History of the Romanian Transformer Designed, Manufactured and Tested at ELECTROPUTERE Craiova

This paper is a true history of the birth, rise and demise of the Romanian transformer designed, manufactured and tested at “ELECTROPUTERE” Craiova written by those who lived it to the fullest. It has been planned for a long time, but this year a special occasion came up: 75 years since the founding of Electroputere and 50 years since the founding of ICMET Institute, events that together led to the fame of the Romanian transformer all over the world.
