Simulation Algorithms for Dynamic Models. Case Study: AHU Control
In this work the use of a simulation algorithm based on the approximation of the transfer functions by difference equations is proposed. This algorithm is compared with four other algorithms based on the use of numerical methods for the solution of a multivariable nonlinear model with Hammerstein-Wiener structure, whose linear part is made up of four transfer functions. Using two data sets from different experiments, it is shown that the proposed algorithm is faster than the others, while maintaining accuracy, and is also suitable for the simulation of the closed-loop control of the system.
