Study of Biconical Antenna Behavior Using CST Software
This paper presents a study on the behavior and design of a biconical antenna within the frequency range of 250–750 MHz, conducted using the CST learning edition software. Because the number of IoT and 5G+ devices increase, so does the unintended interaction between these devices, as well as interference with older devices operating at lower frequencies. This phenomenon is known as electromagnetic interference (EMI). Thus, there is a need for a wideband device that covers several octaves. A thoroughly researched solution is the biconical antenna. Current and older designs of biconical antennas can be improved to meet the requirements of 5G+ devices
