Wireless Communication for SCADA System of a Railway Electrical Substation

The aim of this paper is the implementation and validation of the wireless communication in a The Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA). The implementation was done for an electrical substation, in order to optimize the time in which the user intervenes within the electrical substations to make the required improvements and to optimize the costs with the trips to the electrical substation a wireless connection method is approached.
