Developing a Rectangular-Shaped Antenna for 5G Networks Operating at 3.5 GHz
A patch antenna for 5G applications can be constructed, simulated, and optimized utilizing Rogers RT5880 material. The finished antenna was replicated using computer simulation techniques. The simulation results demonstrated a reflectivity of-55.81 dB, a VSWR of 1.0032, a gain of 7.07 dBi, a directivity of 7.52 dBi, a bandwidth of 75 MHz, an efficiency of 94.01%, and a surface current of24.9A/m. The primary objectives of the proposed antenna are to diminish surface current, enhance antenna gain, directivity, and efficiency bandwidth, and minimize return loss by employing a conventional VSWR. The antenna's overall performance makes it highly suitable for 5G wireless applications.
