Organizing student research work at a pedagogical university within the framework of an international project on creation of a digital educational platform

The research aims to justify and determine a set of didactic conditions that promote research activities among undergraduate students at a pedagogical university within the framework of an international project, whose goal is to create a digital educational platform. The article presents experience in integrating the academic discipline “Fundamentals of Educational and Research Activities” with a real international project aimed at developing cooperation with educational institutions in the Republic of Indonesia. The structure of the online course on the discipline “Fundamentals of Educational and Research Activities” is described, including diagnostic assessment of the level of students’ readiness for upcoming research activities, the main research task, and the system for results evaluation. Particular attention is paid to the development of technological support for online lessons in the Russian language and culture for Indonesian learners carried out by students. The scientific novelty of the research lies in creating a comprehensive approach to organizing student research activities, combining theoretical training, practical work, and reflection in the context of an international project. The research findings show that the elaborated set of didactic conditions can effectively contribute to the development of students’ research competencies, increasing their motivation for scientific activity and forming intercultural interaction skills. The proposed approach can be adapted for application in other pedagogical universities to improve the quality of training future teachers for research and international activities in the context of globalization of education.
