The formation and implementation of military policy is of paramount importance in the context of state building. In this regard, it is necessary to note the importance of referring to historical experience in this matter, such as the events of the Russian Civil War. An assessment of the military policy pursued by the anti-Bolshevik forces on the example of the decisions of the West Siberian Commissariat in the context of the process of its formation on the basis of the ideological component of the opponents of the Soviet regime seems to be definitely significant.
