Study of an Aircraft Twin-Spool Single-Jet Turbo-Engine as Controlled Object
The paper deals with a single-jet twin-spool turbo-engine (TSSJE) for aircraft use. Based on non-linear engine's motion equations, the mathematical model was established. New forms of model's equations were issued, the main input and output parameters were established, as well as the model's coefficients forma. One has studied the variations of TSSJE's essential coefficients (time constants, stability constants, mutual coefficients, particular gains) in the range of engine's operating speeds, but also depending on the flight altitude. Some aspects regarding TSSJE's quality (its time behavior) were also studied using its step response and some important conclusions were drawn.
