Optimizing Underwater Imaging through Wavelength Adjustment of Light Sources: A Case Study at the Black Sea Using EPS Vision 1712
This study explores methods to optimize the quality of underwater images by adjusting the wavelength of light sources, with specific applications to the Black Sea. Utilizing the EPS Vision 1712 equipment, equipped with a high-resolution camera and an adjustable LED lighting system, the study analyzes the influences of environmental parameters such as turbidity, temperature, depth, and salinity on light propagation and underwater image quality. Additionally, techniques for automating the lighting optimization process are explored to improve the efficiency and accuracy of underwater inspections. Future research directions include integrating environmental sensors and developing adaptive algorithms for dynamic control of light sources.
