Computer Aided Design of Two-Element Matching Network Using the ZY Smith Chart
Impedance matching is a crucial concept in electrical engineering and electronics, aiming to optimize power transfer between analogue circuits and transmission lines. This paper explores the significance of impedance matching techniques in various applications, highlighting their impact in system performance and efficiency. It presents a computer aided design procedure that calculates the values of components needed to fulfil the condition of impedance matching using Smith chart.
