Laparoscopic Ureteral Reimplant With Boari Flap

Ureteric reimplant with Boari flap in operated case of Ca ovary with mass involving left VUJ. Case Report. Surgery done using 3D laparoscopy, patient in lithotomy position under anesthesia . Entire procedure done by qualified and experienced team. 67years known case of ovary came with complaints of haematuria since 2months, with mass involving left VUJ & left external iliac vessels. Diagnostic laparoscopy with excision of mass involving left VUJ & left external iliac vessels with left partial cystectomy with Left ureteral reimplantation with Boari flap. Surgery done using 3D laparoscopy, patient in lithotomy position under anesthesia . Entire procedure done by qualified and experienced team. In modern era, Laparoscopic reimplantation with Boari flap is a safe, feasible and less morbid procedure for the management of long- segment ureteral defects (more than 5cm) in carefully selected patients. The patient benefits clearly from this surgical technique in terms of improved cosmesis and lower morbidity.
