Eccentric Superficial Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty for Bilateral Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency

This study describes a new surgical technique of eccentric SALK to treat anterior stromal opacity and restore limbal stem cell function without systemic immunosuppression. The surgery improves the vision in most patients. However, in this complicated patient group, close postsurgical management is vital to recognize complications and intervene with treatment as needed.
