Feminização docente
The profile of rural teachers is a gap in the Educational Census, requiring research into this lack of data. Therefore, this article aims to describe and analyze the political-pedagogical profile of female teachers of countryside education in the littoral south identity territory in Bahia, in the light of the study of the category teacher feminization. The information was collected as part of the implementation of the FormaCampo Program in 2021. We found that teaching in countryside education is feminized and mostly carried out by black and brown women, aged from 18 to over 55. We concluded that women/teachers are the family breadwinners and are mainly responsible for domestic work, combining reproductive and productive work.
