Cyclophanes as Emerging Materials — From Synthesis To Functions (Adv. Funct. Mater. 47/2024)
Cyclophanes as Emerging Materials 75 years ago, cyclophanes were discovered for the first time, showcasing their use as building blocks, e.g., for organic light emitting diodes (shown), solar cells, or precursors of soft materials (parylenes). In particular, the planar chirality of cyclophane can be favorably used for circularly polarized thermally activated delayed fluorescence. More details can be found in the Guest Editorial by Zahid Hassan, Jörg Lahann, and Stefan Bräse (2410027).
