An Efficient Thermal Management Using Passive Cooling Techniques
Effective thermal management is crucial for the reliability and longevity of motors, whether they are common induction motors AC Motors or permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). This research investigated passive cooling methods by improving heat sink fins to enhance ventilation and reduce motor heat. The study involved both simulations and experimental testing to evaluate the effectiveness of passive cooling techniques. Results indicated that passive cooling can significantly reduce motor heat and thermal stress, thereby extending motor lifespan. Such improvements offered a cost-effective solution for thermal management in industrial applications. This research aimed to provide practical guidelines for implementing passive cooling techniques to enhance motor efficiency and durability.
