The application of a drop-tube reactor for fast pyrolysis of agricultural biomass: An effective way to valuable products
• The drop tube reactor was involved in fast pyrolysis of agricultural biomass. • Bio-oil was the main pyrolytic product with a yield of approximately 50%. • Bio-char was carbon richer by 26% than raw feedstock. • Acids and phenols dominated in the composition of bio-oil. • The pyrolytic gas was mainly composed of CO and CO 2 and 10% of H 2 .
