802 Gbps Coherent Optical Sub-Assembly (COSA) based on a Coupling Modulated Silicon Ring Resonator
We present a coherent optical sub-assembly (COSA) consisting of a silicon ring resonator-based, dual-polarization I/Q coupling modulator and integrated custom silicon germanium (SiGe) drivers. We demonstrate 78-km 802.6-Gbps transmission with 90-GBaud PS-64-QAM modulation.
