Bioremediation of Soils Contaminated With Hydrocarbons and Heavy Metals, Huancavelica
The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of sunflower (Helianthus anuuss L) and wheat (Triticum aestivum L) and the addition of organic amendments (guinea pig manure and sawdust) on soil contaminated by metals and hydrocarbons. For this purpose, 15 pots of 10 kg of soil and a 2:1 distribution (soil and amendment) were prepared. The design was completely randomized, with a $2 \times 2$ factorial arrangement with 6 treatments and 3 replicates, for 6 months. Slight increases in $\mathrm{PH}, \mathrm{OM}$ and CE were determined due to the addition of amendments and exudates of the plant species. The highest TPH removal was achieved with wheat-guinea pig extract, with a 26% reduction. The highest removal of $\mathbf{C d}$, (77%) $\mathbf{C u }$ (33.3%), P b (85.9%) and Zn(87.9%)was with the plant species (Wheat/Girasol)-no amendment. The plant species had a greater impact on the removal of heavy metals, while the organic amendments reduced the presence of hydrocarbons and improved the physical properties of the soil.
