An Algorithm for Dragonfly Optimization (DOA) to Enhance Wireless Sensor Network Security During Attack by Node Capture
The wide network of a wireless sensor network (WSN) area of communication makes it extremely vulnerable to various network threats due to its restricted resource consumption. One particular kind of network attack is called a “node capture attack,” wherein an attacker compromises entire networks by taking control of nodes and the components that make them up. We employ the Dragonfly Optimization Algorithm (DOA) to determine which nodes are most likely to be captured by an attack. The DOA executes multi-objective optimization by considering energy expenditure, key count, and node velocity. The results of the experiment indicate that, in comparison The DOA shows a greater compromised traffic fraction, cheaper energy consumption costs, and fewer attacking rounds in comparison to the PSO and other node capture algorithms.
