Exploring the Growth and Future research directions on Robo advisors: A Bibliometric Study
The expansion and potential research paths of robo-advisors in the financial services industry are examined in this bibliometric study. The study uses a hybrid literature review methodology, combining theme analysis and descriptive bibliometric methodologies, to analyze 340 pertinent scientific items from 1988 to 2023. One of the main conclusions is that there has been a noticeable increase in research effort since 2016, with the US emerging as a major contributor. The most important writer is undoubtedly Dominik Jung, whose important writings have garnered a large number of citations. Research topics and collaborative relationships are uncovered using co-author and cocitation network studies. Researchers, practitioners, and policymakers can all benefit from the study's observations, which provide insightful advice on how to navigate the intricacies of robo-advisory services, pinpoint areas in need of further research, and plan out future studies.
