Research on Perforation-Adding Tapping Strategies for Perforation-avoided Production Wells of Block A in Daqing Oilfield

Abstract To avoid inefficient and ineffective circulation and improve the producing degree of low water-cut layers, ultra-high water-cut layers of new wells were not perforated before putting into production. In order to fully tap remaining oil in perforation-avoided layers, this paper studied on perforation-adding tapping strategies for perforation-avoided production wells of block A in Daqing oilfield according to dynamic and static characteristics of injection and production wells, logging curves and numerical simulation. The research results show that the whole layer and the top of the layer without perforation are preferred to selected to add perforation. Injection parameters optimization, separate-layer adjustment and hydraulic fracturing can slow down the decline of injection and production capacity. Meanwhile, plane adjustment in perforation-adding area can further improve the development effect. Based on perforation-adding effect and numerical model prediction results, the optimal perforation-adding time of classified wells is different. The best perforation-adding effect of wells with class I and class II channels perforating avoided was achieved in the middle and late water cut rising period while achieved in the middle and late low water-cut stage in wells with class III and class IV channels perforating avoided.
