Ten Year Reunion

My name is Jet Lepper, and I'm a transgender comic artist interested in participating in issue 52 of the Occasional Paper Series. I recognize that I am late to submit my interest as the deadline was on the first, but I'd still like to try and toss my hat into the ring. As a trans individual, I think that having trans educators in our school system is important now more than ever. We are in the midst of a large swarm of anti-trans sentiment, and having trans people in educational positions allows for people to see that we're just like everybody else, as well as create safe spaces for questioning students. There is a lot of bad happening, but I believe that by educating people through these comics we can bring some good to the world as well and I'd like to be able to partake in spreading that knowledge. My work is a mixture of nonfiction comics for all ages and children's comics, and my style varies with the subject matter.
