The greatest physics discovery of the 20th century
Abstract I have chosen Quantum Mechanics as the greatest physics discovery of the 20 th century and in this brief paper I explain that quantum mechanics has changed the way we think about physics, the way we think about reality and the nature of our ordinary lives. I embrace the weirdness of quantum physics and its ability to calculate physical properties to amazing accuracy, along with the practical applications of the past and those to come, while marvelling at how much there is yet to be understood.
