Open Complex Dynamics and Cell Phenotype Differentiation in Microgravity Environment
The role of open complexes is similar to the mesoscopic defects and provides the cell plasticity or the cell fragility depending on the structural susceptibility of the cytoskeleton structure and the types of collective modes of open complexes. It was shown the correspondence of open complex dynamics and types of collective modes to specific type of criticality (the structural-scaling transition) in the presence of the mesoscopic potential associated with the Waddington epigenetic landscape.Differentiation of phenotypes in the presence of microgravity, the restoring natural paths of gene expression in the gravity field in the links with established epigenetic (free energy) landscape and attractors properties allow the formulation of the conditions of cells reprogramming.
